News From Art Show

Hey guys...

Well, I'm back and have some news about the art show...

Unfortunately I didn't win anything, but the ceremony was absoloutely fantastic! There was a live band from the students at Mayfield secondary school - they were a jazz band and really amazing.

Even though I didn't win any awards it was still an unforgettable experience. Fortunately, a student in my school, Rachel Reist, won the Galery Art Award, and I am very proud of her. She is a year older than me and her work is absoloutely fantastic. So...congratz Rachel!!

I still encourage those who live around the area to visit the gallery any time. It is a wonderful place...they not only have art to display but many archives as well. The whole place was set up like an old General Store from the 50's and it was just superb.

My piece will be displayed until June 15, 2008. If anyone needs reminders of the location, it is located on the corner of Hwy. 89 and Airport Rd. It is called the Dufferin Peel Museum and Archives.^^
